ProSet Fire-Rated
Drains
ProSet
provides a complete line of Government spec fire-rated drains. These
drains can connect to plastic or cast iron pipe through above-ground
floors or ground-floor concrete slabs. ProSet also has a low-profile
drain which will connect to plastic in a metal deck or in a wood
floor.
All
of these drains are suitable for use with ProSet's Trap Guard® Drain
System (see below) for flexibility in the use and placement of
drains.

The
Trap Guard® Drain System
Trap
Guard solves the problem of infrequently used drains by eliminating
the need for a trap primer while preventing the emission of sewer
gases and the backup of raw sewage into living or work areas. It is
much less expensive, much more effective and much simpler to
maintain than a trap primer.

Emergency
Drain Systems
Emergency Drain Systems use the Trap Guard® Drain System to provide a
way to drain off excess water during and after a water emergency.
Combined with waterproof ProSet penetrations, this
will
reduce water damage and owner/tenant inconvenience. The combination
provides proper tenant separation and reduces the potential for
mold between walls and floors.

Area
and Planter Drains
When area deck or planter drains
penetrate concrete slabs above the ground floor, they need to be
waterproofed. ProSet has developed a very inexpensive, simple,
reliable and long-lasting system that provides for waterproofing as
well as the drainage receptor.
The system is called ProSet’s Tri-Level Drainage System.
